The other species found in Uganda include; the critically endangered mountain gorillas, chimpanzees, the various antelope species, the Rothschild giraffe, spotted hyenas and a massive variety of bird species. Uganda is a home to over; 1062 notable bird species, 364 mammal species, 13 primate species including a noteworthy population of more than 5000 chimpanzees and 400 mountain gorillas (almost half of the world’s population of these endangered species).
